Pricing Checklist

Use this before presenting a solar proposal. The goal is simple: price cleanly, catch risk early, and never sell a surprise grenade with a bow on it.

Project Information

1. Client Objectives

Review the main reason the client wants Riverside's services.

2. Project Location

Pricing must reflect location. Use the distance and travel time section in the pricing spreadsheet.

3. Roof Review

4. Roof Type

5. Pricing Review

Guardrails are in place to keep pricing between $2.25/W and $3.25/W.

Enter price and system size to calculate $/W.

6. Technical Review

If there are any questions about electrical or crane requirements, talk to Chris or Marlo. If Chris or Marlo are not available, ask Sean.

Golden Rule

Never guess.

If you are unsure about pricing, electrical requirements, structural considerations, crane requirements, or anything else that could affect the proposal, stop and ask.

Speak with Chris or Marlo first. If they are unavailable, contact Sean.

Spending five minutes verifying a detail is always better than spending five hours fixing a mistake after the project has been sold.
